Plastic Bag Storage
Saving plastic bags is really useful. I keep all of mine in one big plastic bag and hang it beside my garbage. I have a metal over the door plastic bag basket back at my other house which works great as well.
Misc. Paper Storage
I keep a lot of miscellaneous papers (flyers, ads, information sheets) that I may want to read or refer to in the future. I initially tried keeping these pinned up, in stacks, or in files. However, I've decided that the easiest thing for me to do with them is to put them in a small storage bin somewhere out of the way. I put mine under my bedside table since I didn't have anything else to put there.

Hallway Shoe Storage
My hallway is just over a metre wide, yet I am able to fit around 20 pairs of shoes there if I wanted to. This stackable shoe rack is a huge space saver. It is around $30 for 2 shelves from Walmart. The only con about this shoe rack would be tall boots and heels can only fit on the top shelf. A solution to this would be to have the shelves side by side. My hallway is too small to accommodate two side by side shelves so I just put my heels in sideways.
Scarf Organization
I used to just pile my scarves in my drawer or hang them behind my door. Now I hang them in my closet using space equal to 1 sweater. You can get these hangers at the dollar store.

Pajama storage
You can find these storage units at the dollar store for $1 or better quality ones at Walmart for $10. Each box can fit around 10 shirts.

Extra closet space
I have been lacking closet space for quite a while now. I solved this issue by buying a clothing rack. This piece can give you lots of storage in a small place. As you can see below, I fit the rack in about half a meter of space. I even have additional room for bag storage underneath the rack. This is a very easy and cheap solution ($10) when you need extra closet space.

Toilet paper storage
I bought this slide out tray from the dollar store. It is a really easy and inexpensive solution for toilet paper storage when you really don't have the room for it. With this, we were able to fit our toilet paper in the small area under our sink. The slide out tray makes the toilet paper really accessible.
